Our goal is to work in collaboration to identify and resolve problematic behaviors, irrational beliefs, and emotional concerns that are impairing your ability to function. Beginning therapy is a huge step towards a healthy you. No matter what challenges you are facing, we will identify best approaches and coping skills that will contribute to your emotional wellness, healing, recovery, and growth.
Individual therapy is a collaborative effort and joint process between a therapist and the individual seeking therapy. People seek therapy for numerous reasons, which often includes anxiety, depression, anger, mood instability, trauma, substance use disorders and other major life challenges. We will work in partnership to address your goals in therapy to help inspire positive changes, growth, emotional wellness, and quality of life. My goal is to work closely with you to help overcome any barriers or obstacles that is causing distress or impairment in a confidential and non-judgmental therapeutic setting.
Couples often experience partner relational problems due to poor communication, infidelity, mistrust, financial hardship, conflict and intimacy. Couples therapy could present as an opportunity to help strengthen intimacy, communication and emotional connection. Couples therapy could also serve to be beneficial in considering a separation. We will work together to examine solutions to help regain couple identity and strengthen the relationship.
We may often turn to family for support, encouragement, advice, or unconditional love, but sometimes relationships among family members can become strained due to specific issues that affect the psychological health of the family. Families could benefit from therapy when they experience stressful events that places hardship on the family, such as loss, divorce, substance use disorders, interpersonal conflict, communication problems, intimate partner violence and behavioral concerns. We will work together at guiding compassion, active listening, healthy communication and understanding to help promote harmonious relationships among family members.
On-line therapy has helped to redefine mental health services by offering services thorough a secure, HIPAA compliant, user-friendly platform to extend flexibility and convenience to engage with individuals in any location. This has allowed individuals the opportunity to receive therapy from the comfort of their home, or any other location without traveling to a traditional therapy setting. While the on-line therapy is still in its early phases, there are only a selected amount of insurance companies that covers these services.
